The city of LOVE...

It still seems so surreal that we have been here! It has been on my bucket list for so long, and to have been able to go with the one I love - was magical.

This city is so full of history, culture and things to do.

So here are our top recommendations for while you're in Paris.

1. Go up the Eiffel Tower -

I know the Eiffel Tower is an attraction itself and it is beautiful. But the view you will get from the top is incredible! We were super lucky it was a clear day.

We paid about $47 AUD (25.90 EUR) Which was for lift access to the top level. All the way to the top. Other prices for the tower are Here.

2. The Paris Catacombs -

WOW! If you aren’t spooked easy this is something you need to do.

Not going to lie it is a bit eerie, but super fascinating.

Around the 17th century, cemeteries around Paris were overflowing. So the solution was to move the corps into the tunnels that had existed beneath the city. These tunnels go 20 meters down underground!

The tour will take roughly an hour, and Prices for an adult ticket was about $26 AUD (14 EUR) and an additional $9 (5 EUR) for the audio tour. We can not recommend this enough! Other prices can be found Here.

3. Visit DISNEYLAND

This was our very first Disneyland experience - and boy it was a great one. We are both massive fans of everything Disney.

We both like to see as much as we can in a short time, so naturally we had bought the '1-Day Park Hopper' ticket which was $179 AUD. The other park we visited being Walt Disney Studio Park, the two parks were walking distance from one another. Here are the other ticket prices.

I don't feel we were rushed to see things. It was a busy day when we were there, so having the second park to bounce around actually worked really well.

4. Visit the Arc de Triomphe

We were so fascinated by this monument, which is the junction of 12 avenues, making it like a round-a-bout.

Once we had crossed over to the middle we could not stop looking at how so many cars enter and exit without colliding - Although i'm sure it's not that case all the time.

This is so significant to France as it is honours those who had fought and died for France during the French Revolutionary.

An Unknown Soldier is buried beneath the monument, with an eternal flame burning at the base on the Arc de Triomphe.

You are able to go to the top of the monument, unfortunately we didn't visit till later in the afternoon and couldn't make it to the top. The prices are here.

5. You MUST eat a Macaron.

Not only is this a French treat - they are delicious!

We had bought ours at the top of the Eiffel Tower, from a lovely gentleman with a little stall. it was quite pricey up there but totally worth it.

So go get yours!!

6. Hire a LIME Scooter.

These are so fun and a great way to see the city!

Look, it's probably not the cheapest way to get around, although we had the best time and saw so much.

They cost $1.85 AUD (1 EUR) to unlock and then $0.28 AUD (0.15 EUR) for every minute used after that. So it definitely can add up, but at least this way you have the flexibility to stop where ever you need, and can start riding again, when ever you're ready. No need to wait around for buses or taxis.

The beauty with these scooters is they are paid for through the Lime app, and you can just scan the QR code on the scooter to unlock it! The app allows you to find scooters near by, start, pause and stop rides.

This most certainly isn't all Paris has to offer, there is so much more, this was just our Top 6 thing to do.

We hope you have a blast and enjoy your time in Paris :)
