Ultimate Traveller’s Guide to London
London is a perfect destination to visit if you are planning a European holiday, there is so much to see and do, it’s impossible to be bored. If you are like us and want to see as much as you can in a short time, this is the perfect place.
The currency they use in London is the Pound.
Public transport
We found the city to be easy to navigate using the Under Ground and other public transport, as well as lots of walking.
If you were to use the Train, buses or trams to get around you can buy single tickets or an Oyster Card. An Oyster card will cost you 5 Pounds, which is refundable when you no longer need your card. This card can be used on buses, train, and tram. You can buy and top them up online, single-ride tickets are also available online. Don’t worry if you can’t find a place with Wi-Fi or have data they still have places at the station you can get tickets.
Time to go
I’m sure the summer is a great time to visit London, although we went in early December. If you are a fan of all things Christmas, there is plenty of Christmas markets and lights all around the city.
We were able to sip on some mulled cider and some sweet treats at one of the markets.
Top Things To Do and See
London has so many great sights to see.
I will us Central station as a reference for distances by car, although there are closer stations to most this is just a guide.

If you have a bit more time and would like to adventure outside the city, you could day trip to;
