We had a late start here unfortunately, we would definitely love to explore this area more. Although what we did see was amazing. Switzerland is very expensive for us trying to travel reasonable cheap. That didn't stop us having a good time though! Michael still paid a ridiculous amount for a McDonalds burger haha

We had checked into out hotel and then found some bikes you can hire. Its great fun exploring a city via bike. Super cold as you would expect during the time of year we had visited (December).

We had found this massive Christmas market not far from where we were staying and it was so busy! They sold cute Christmas decorations, food and other trinkets.

It was starting to get a bit later but we were still riding around on our bikes and had ventured to another Christmas market. This was an open air one - bit chilly. There again was some nice cosy outdoor bars and more yummy food!

This one had the cutest choir standing in a Christmas tree frame singing carols - Love the festive vibe!

After the big night of market hoping it was time to get some rest before out big adventure to Liechtenstein.

Fun fact: Liechtenstein is the 6th small Country in the World, as well as one of only two DOUBLE landlocked countries

We had caught a train from Zürich to Sargans, where we then had to catch a short bus ride over the border in to Vaduz which is the capital of Liechtenstein. We had finally seen some snow, and for us Aussies thats quite exciting haha. :) We don't get much of that around Australia.

Of course we had to throw a few snow balls at one another! I wasn't that great.

This Country is so beautiful! those gorgeous snow capped mountains and cobble stone streets oh, and there is a castle!

The castle is the offical residence for the Prince of Liechtenstein. It is situated on a mountain and looks over the city. It was built in the 12th Century.

We didn't do anything too exciting here except for visiting the castle and have a few snow ball fights. still would recommend visiting this small country cause it is just beautiful!

This was how we had spent our time here in Zürich and Vaduz. If you have any tips for us when we visit again leave a comment and let us know.

Don't forget to check out our Vlog from these Countries.
